I am a published author!

Saturday, May 29, 2010 marks the day in which myself and 13 fellow authors will be in attendance at the Hilton Hotel in Concord, CA. We have accomplished a milestone of becoming first time published authors of an anthology titled: "Stories of Transformation: Remaining Whole Despite Adversity".


I am so excited! This event will be the first of its kind to take place in northern California (Bay Area). Not only will author Terry McMillan be a key note speaker, but there will be a platform for people to network and share in the developing and empowerment of women all over.

Hats off to the inventor of tablets and pens, I mean writing is the coolest thing ever! My thoughts can be displayed on this empty canvass (paper) and I get to jot down various things and use words: like "consequential", "verbiage", "nonetheless", etc. FYI, those words just popped in my head. Clearly nothing to do at all with what I'm typing. I'm just testing this blog thing out **holds up jazz hands**. I'm battling between writer's block and giving t.m.i., so with that said, I'm signing off.
